KODOKAN Ireland is a Judo club created in 2006 by
Frederic Marmain and David Rolland, both black belts with
10 years teaching experience.
This club is a non-profit association, located in Shankill at
Shanganagh Park House, Community Centre.
Judo is a Japanese martial art founded in 1882 by Master Jigoro Kano.
It’s a self-defence sport as well as a way of life which follows a moral code.
Judo means “Gentle way”.
Kodokan Ireland is a member of the Irish Judo Association.
